Meet the breeder

I'm Teri P., the breeder behind Teri Paris located in P Arksville, NY. I have been a breeder of Parson Russell Terriers since 1989 and Tibetan Spaniels since 2009 I was on the board that put The PRT on the map with AKC in 2000. I am very proud to be breeding now only the Tibetan Spaniel . It is important to me that I am breeding versatile, well-rounded, socialized, and healthy pups for my buyers to welcome into their homes and hearts.

Q. & A. with Teri

  • Why did you start breeding?

My first Terrier came to me from Texas in 1989. This little white dog named Cosmo took me on an amazing journey that has lasted over 30 years. You name it, we did it: conformation, hunting trials, racing, obedience, and even advertising. I adore my dogs. I have two breeds now. My second breed which I acquired in 2010 is the Tibetan Spaniel. This breed is a little more sedate but so am I these days!
  • What makes your program special?

I have developed an eye for these breeds and have a specific type, and vision in mind when breeding. I strive to produce healthy, versatile, good-natured dogs. I sometimes will focus on specific traits for the betterment of the breed, but health and temperament always come first. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
