I'm Rachel A., the breeder behind Texas Dapper Doodles located in Midland, TX. We are a small breeding program raising Goldendoodle puppies using the Puppy Culture method - Health tested & cleared parents.

Why did you start breeding?
I had researched the breed years ago for their temperament and no-low shedding capability, but couldn't justify the price at the time. Years later, after the death of my oldest son - my counselor recommended the family get one to aid in their grief. After seeing the joy & healing he brought we saw it as a ministry opportunity to provide the same furry love to other families.What makes your program special?
Personalized attention to families & lifetime support. Health and temperament of parents. Puppies are raised with Puppy Culture protocols. Our dogs are our pets. They live 100% in our home all day and sleep with us at night! We partner with our local personal trainer to help aid in training.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
