I'm Morgan G., the breeder behind The Barkery located in Ville Platte, LA. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
My journey into breeding began with a love for dogs and the desire to raise them the right way. I saw the difference responsible, hands-on care makes in shaping puppies into wonderful companions. That passion grew into The Barkery, where my family and I dedicate ourselves to raising healthy, socialized puppies prepared for their forever homes.What makes your program special?
When asked my favorite part of raising puppies, my answer is simple: all of it. But what I love most is knowing I’ve helped shape a family’s forever dog. From early stimulation to potty training, I prepare them for life ahead. And the best part? Watching them grow in their new homes and cherishing the bonds made with their families along the way.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Morgan
Morgan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes full vet check, shots, CKC papers, full breeding rights, and a “woof bag” with food, treats, toy, blanket, and care information. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of gender or coloring. You are welcomed to come and see puppies, or FaceTime, before you give your deposit!”
Contract & health guarantee
Morgan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Morgan offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Morgan directly.
