Nancy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Nancy partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“Applicants must includes two References: (a.) your primary veterinary clinic and (b.) one non-relative. Once references are cleared, we schedule an informal face-to-face to become acquainted and conduct a property assessment for adoption readiness. (Done virtually if outside Indiana.) If approved for adoption, you will sign the Deposit form (electronically) and submit a non-refundable payment to reserve a specific dog. You’ll get to review the dog’s DNA health panel results; this may be shared earlier per breeder's discretion. The remaining steps include setting your budget for ground transportation arrangements; choosing the adoption date; review & sign the adoption paperwork (electronically); and pay the remainder of the adoption fee at least one day prior to receiving the dog. Medical records will be sent electronically within 24-hours of the adoption day. BEFORE ADOPTION: Schedule an intro appointment with the dog’s new vet—must occur within a few days post adoption—to establish care and to arrange their preventative Rx. Note: Our pups are only allowed to be adopted into Non-smoking & Non-vaping households for the safety and longevity of their health.”

“Price inclusion varies but always covers a pup's initial vaccines/boosters. Increased adoption fees gain more coverage such as microchipping, spay/neuter surgery and related costs, and a health panel. Deposit is applied toward the starting puppy price listed in a pup's profile.”
Nancy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. At just 3 years, 2 months, and 20 days old, Enola met her forever family! This spirited gal received very few inquiries throughout her life, and yet, it only took one to make a match. She is showing measurable progress in becoming familiar with the family cat—Forrest; he is handling adjustments to her in equal measure. Congratulations to Enola! We are so proud of her and welcome another amazing family into our extended pack. 🐱💙🐶🥰

We could all use some good news these days, and Oncotect’s early cancer screening test brought just that. Both Annibelle AND Buddy’s labs came back as LOW Risk for developing cancer! 👏🏼🥳 We opted to do early cancer screening at this time because of advancements in the canine health field, but also because we recently learned that 1 in 4 dogs will be diagnosed with cancer. From now on we will add early screening tests to their annual wellness appointments. We recommend thinking about doing the same for your dog/s too. Early cancer screening can be done at home with Oncotect, or by asking your veterinarian to submit a NuQ test (small blood sample). Pet owners can learn more about early prevention and detection tips through the Nat’l Canine Cancer Foundation (wearethecure.org)

ISABELLE communicates in her own special way; often favors grabbing a toy when excited; enjoys a round of fetch or zoomies; and sometimes hums/grunts during ear rubs. She enjoys hip/bum scratches; belly rubs too! Izzy will often choose to sit/“place” close by while you’re working, whether you are at the kitchen sink or the bathroom counter. She may take a bit to work through her nerves, depending on the situation. Izzy has quite a powerful sniffer in that, she usually tracks the exact trail of whomever visited the yard. Some of her more recently discovered talents are purposefully carrying multiple toys in her mouth at one time, and collecting “her” toys in one place. She may not be the best when it comes to sharing the toys, but she knows “drop it” and will let her caretaker remove the toy safely from her mouth. Isabelle has already been spayed and microchipped (with lifetime registration). She is heartworm negative, kept up to date on vaccines. ——— To date, the number of adoption inquiries for Miss Isabelle have totaled……… zero. This is why IZZY NEEDS YOUR HELP! Please SHARE our referral link with family and friends ( https://my.gooddog.com/the-sharpeagle-barkery-indiana ). You may be the very reason a potential forever family picks Izzy to join theirs!

Hello! If you’re new here, WELCOME! If you’ve been following us, THANK YOU! We love having dog enthusiasts join our community. 🤗🐶🐾❤️ Our story began with Annibelle and Buddy, our beloved Mümma & Püppa. After a few years’ delay due to the pandemic, we welcomed Annie & Buddy’s first litter on March 13, 2023, and their second litter on November 22, 2023. Though they’re no longer breeding, they’re dedicated to raising their puppies until they find their forever homes. Our mission is to find the perfect match for each pup. No deposits are accepted unless/until we’re confident in the match. For those we can’t match, we provide guidance and support. We’re committed to evolving our program for the benefit of Sharpeagles. As we look at 2026, our goal remains unchanged: matching our unique (F2) Sharpeagles with their ideal families.

We’re manifesting Adoptions for our Indiana crew!!! Normally our adoptions fall within 750-miles of Indianapolis. To celebrate our spunky crew of love bugs, we’re waiving that requirement for applications received* no later than 11:59 pm Eastern time on February 14th. *Submitting an application does not guarantee approval for adoption, however, it just might lead to it after all. 😊 Adoptable males: Pumpkin; Lincoln. Adoptable females: Izzy; Enola; Nini.

Nancy B.
With an overwhelming amount of feelings and a reluctant surrender to the necessary decision, May 2026 is now the deadline for adoptions of 🦃 pups: Pumpkin, Nini, and Lincoln.

Companion Cross
About Annie
Annie holds a close bond with her person (Shar Pei tendency), while also enjoying a good frolick or run around the yard (Beagle tendency) before an ideal session of sunbathing. Her adoption weight was around 18 lbs with the best guess of her age being 6 months old at the time. Her ideal adult weight range may genetically fall between 33-55 lbs, however, she has consistently averaged a healthy adult weight of 35-38 lbs. Annie retired at the end of 2023. Visit our site for more information about the adoption program she helped to build.

Companion Cross
About Buddy
Buddy has the scent and squirrel driven personality of his Beagle side (working breed), and the sounds of a Shar Pei as he snoozes (snoring). His adoption weight was around 17 lbs (at 3 months old). His ideal adult weight range is between 35-45 lbs. Buddy retired from our breeding program at the end of 2023. Visit our site for more information about the adoption program he helped to build.

We found Nancy soon after we lost our 15 year old beloved Beagle Sharpei, Snoopy aka Snoop Dogg, in April. We were devastated and going to wait awhile to adopt again but after our daughter found the adorable puppies on Nancy's website and social media, she convinced us to contact Nancy. We applied through the Good Dog process and Nancy responded almost immediately and several times during the week. We were pleasantly surprised how much time she spent getting to know us and making sure we would be the right fit for one of her pups and vice versa. We picked out the multi-colored Qwin, who reminded us of our Snoop. Nancy filled us in on him and all of his available littermates and after an hour and a half Facetime "Meet and Greet"/interview, we decided we would be thrilled to be matched with Qwin! Within a week, we made the trip from IL to IN to meet him and Nancy and pick him up. She made it easy for us, with frequent communication, information and quick responses to our questions. We fell in love with Qwin at first sight and had the pleasure of meeting his sweet mother, Annie! It was immediately obvious that Nancy gives quality care to her dogs, is thoroughly invested in making sure they are healthy and socialized and cares about them dearly. She is passionate and very knowledgeable about these unique dogs and helped us overcome our reluctancy to again be dog parents again. We would highly recommend using Nancy and the Sharpeagle Barkery if you are an experienced owner or are a first timer interested in this wonderful mixed breed. They are unique and Nancy is one of the rare breeders in the country. You wont be disappointed! Sue and Paul Korpai Illinois

Nancy communicated quickly and was available before, during, and after getting Gracie. We were able to do a video call to see the pups and how they interacted in their natural environment. She was available for Gracie’s transition into our home and even offered to pay for a session with a trainer when we had some initial challenges with her and our 12 year old Puggle. Nancy genuinely cares for the pups and has created a community to maintain contact with the dogs and their new families.

I reached out to The Sharpeagle Bakery after my beloved Sharpeagle, Leo crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. It was devastating for all of us, especially my older dog, Renzo. Nancy had two litters of Sharpeagles available, and I couldn't believe it. Working with Nancy was such a great experience. She was attentive and answered all questions promptly. She has an very thorough and necessary screening process to ensure her pups' forever homes are a good match. I finally decided to adopt Hugo, who was about 10 months old. We ran into issues with delivery, since Hugo was a little too big to fly, and his breed mix was apparently not allowed in cargo. Nancy worked literally day and night to find ground transport for Hugo, and honestly, I think ground transport is better than flying. Also, Nancy takes really great care of her pups. Hugo came with an extensive medical record, which included his genetic profile, which showed what he would be possible susceptible to medically. My vet was very impressed by the packet Hugo came with. Hugo was a great fit for our family, and we are all thrilled that we deserved to be his forever home. He's so sweet and kind, and he loves to play with his elder brother Renzo. Nancy is wonderful, and genuinely kind. I'm happy to have met her and make a new friend. We communicate still, and who knows, I can't get enough of the wrinkly Sharpeagles, I may need another! I highly recommend The Sharpeagle Barkery. Sharpeagles are so cuddly and loyal.
