Why did you start breeding?
I am a Pediatric Emergency RN. I've been a puppyraiser and a dog trainer since I was in my twenties. When I retire from nursing in 10 years or so, I want to breed family friendly, wonderfully socialized Labradors. I'm starting my breeder journey with my beloved Yorkiepoo Janie. She was raised by a wonderful breeder in Ohio, that was also a nurse. She recommended I "start small" so to speak. Janie's first litter produced beautiful, happy, healthy YorkiePoos.
What makes your program special?
I have 30 years of experience raising and training service dog puppies. My puppies live in my home, and they are trained to sleep in a crate at night in my bedroom. They are handled, groomed, loved, and socialized with all sorts of people and new situations. Creating healthy, family friendly pets is be my #1 goal.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Litter update on 09 Aug •
Today was a bit of a big milestone. I let the puppies have some milk replacer puppy formula, and I fed it to them from my hand so they could learn to sit up and lap up some food. They all took 10-15mls and got it all over their faces and front feet. Then, some neighbor kids stopped by to snuggle them! What a great day to be a puppy at my house! I will be reaching out to you 6 buyers early next week and we can match you all with your puppies!

Litter update on 05 Aug •
The puppies are 2 weeks old! All of their eyes are open and lots of milestones will be happening this week! Between 14 and 21 days, they start to stumble around, and then eventually, will be able to walk and climb. They will also start to be able to see a little further and hear sounds around them. They are so much fun to cuddle right now. We have been walking around the house and having friends come over for short visits to hold them. In about another week, I will start having those that have reserved one, choose their puppy in order of when they paid their deposit. Please let me know if you have any questions. Litter update on 31 July •
Good Evening! The pups are 10 days old today! They are all eating and growing and they all have doubled their birth weight. Betsy is ever so slightly the biggest weighing in today at 425 grams!! ( .94 pounds) Eyes are still closed. I hold them every day and today, I clipped their nails for the first time with a tiny pair of scissors. They are did great!! All the pups are reserved except for one boy. I'm sure someone will claim the 3rd pick of the boys soon. I have changed the girls to "applications closed" because I have 3 deposits paid, and one person on the waiting list. Buyers: In about another 10 days I will contact each of you in order of deposits paid to choose your puppy. Litter update on 27 July •
Good Morning! The puppies are 1 week old today. They are all gorgeous and healthy. They are all gaining weight steadily and responding well to ENS ( Early Neurological Stimulation.) Every day I take each puppy out, weigh them, handle them in novel ways, and talk to them sweetly, because they are just starting to be able to hear. I'm also playing soft music in the room during the day, getting them used to the sounds of our human world. I'm thrilled that 5 out of the 6 puppies are reserved! There is one boy left! Hello! I hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend. The puppies are 8 weeks old today! This week, their Daddy dog, Rocky, came to meet the puppies.It was a wonderful reunion, and I was reminded of why I chose Rocky to be the sire. Such a mellow, sweet, quiet boy. Your pick-up appointments are all set for this week.By Sunday afternoon, all the pups will be settled into their new homes. I will miss them so much, but I have to be honest, it has been allot of hard work raising them up for you! A "Labor of Love" for sure. ❤️🐾 Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

What a busy 7th week of life the pups have had! I will text you some additional photos and the pick-up schedule soon. This week they have met people of all ages, they are becoming acclimated to the travel bags, they are using the grass pads for (most all) their pooping , and they are sleeping in crates at night. I'm really proud of them.

About Janie
Janie is a CKC Registered F1 YorkiePoo from Sunny Day Puppies in Ohio. Vet check and Genetics cleared by Embark. She is very fit, we walk about 30 miles a week. And..she loves to retrieve! Janie is very happy and social. She loves kids! I think it is because her breeder exposed her to lots of kids of all ages when she was very young. That is why I do the same with my puppies.
