I'm Lisa W., the breeder behind Thistle and Rock Sealyham Terriers located in Holden, MO. They are wonderful dogs and I care deeply about their well-being. I am dedicated to doing my part to better the breed. There is nothing I love more than seeing my pups thrive. I participate in dog shows, our national breed rescue organization and the AKC Meet the Breeds events around the country.

Why did you start breeding?
My family has loved purebred dogs for decades. When I purchased my third Sealyham terrier, I agreed to show and breed her. Our rare terriers need dedicated breeders to preserve and promote them, to remain viable and healthy for future generations.What makes your program special?
I do my best to bring Sealyhams that are sweet, healthy, and handsome to this world—in that order. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
