I'm Michi B., the breeder behind Thistledown Bedlington Terriers located in Sapulpa, OK. Our dogs are family. We offer top-quality Bedlington puppies from our loving arms to yours! Our goal is to produce puppies that make wonderful companions, so we breed with a focus on health and temperament above all. We want all of our pups to live long and happy lives with their forever families!

Why did you start breeding?
We love this breed! Our dogs have brought us so much love and happiness that we decided to start our own responsible breeding program by producing the highest quality , health tested puppies possible.What makes your program special?
We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family! All our dogs are genetically tested for known health issues.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Michi partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Copper Toxicosis, Bedlington Terrier Type (COMMD1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
