Q. & A. with Chelsea

  • Why did you start breeding?

Helping families create strong bonds, memories, and shared responsibility has been one of the greatest joys of what I do. I love the opportunity to be a small part of helping kids and adults unwind after a long day by taking their dog on a walk, playing fetch, or curling up together.
  • What makes your program special?

We focus on health, temperament, and companionship in our breeding program. In the 8 weeks we have the puppies, we try to give them the best start by exposing them to various sounds, children, animals, and other stimuli.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Chelsea

Chelsea has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Chelsea partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

"I will send you a questionnaire so I can learn more about your lifestyle and goals for puppy/dog ownership. At seven weeks old, we give the puppies a variety of tests and score them. Based off your responses and their scores, we match puppies and owners. Of course, male and female are specified by you and any color preferences. We temperament test to set puppies and owners alike up for success! "
