I'm Susan K., the breeder behind Timberwyck Airedales located in Farmington Hills, MI. We have been breeding Airedale’s since 1980. At Timberwyck we are serious, dedicated breeders, maintaining high standards to produce the very finest Airedales possible, both physically and mentally. Our knowledge of the breed has developed and is kept current through years of exhibition in both conformation and obedience, reading canine literature and attending veterinary and behavioral seminars. Dog shows provide us with the competition to produce better dogs. Although you may not want a show dog you deserve a pet that was the end result of a carefully planned litter, a pup that received the same care as a potential champion. Timberwyck has achieved Breeder of the Year, USA, Number One Airedales in the Country, Best In Shows, Specialty Wins, Top Terriers in the USA,and Obedience Titles. We are producing Airedales with beauty, brains, and wit. There is a difference.
Much is involved than just bringing two dogs together. All Airedales at Timberwyck are raised in the home. Puppies are provided with visual and auditory stimulation. Visitors are encouraged to handle the puppies, including youngsters. Puppies are introduced to different stimuli in the home, along with car rides, grooming, walking on a leash, and retrieving. All this is accomplished before a pup leaves. This truly makes a difference in our dogs.
