I'm Stephanie A., the breeder behind Tintown Shibas located in Dover, OH. Tintown Shibas are recognized by AKC with Breeder Of Merit status and participate in the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T program. We show our dogs in the Conformation ring, occasionally we will have puppies available to pet homes. All of our dogs are tested for Hips, Eyes and Patellas with the Orthopedic Foundation For Animals.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
