I'm D'Nae W., the breeder behind Tipping Point Leonbergers located in Levelland, TX. My goal is to raise Leonbergers who go on to become healthy and loving family companions. My dogs live in my home and are valued members of my family.
Q. & A. with D'Nae
Why did you start breeding?
I met my first Leonbergers in 2003. Those dogs and their owner, Waltraut Zieher (Kennel von Stutensee), made an indelible impression. I was lucky enough to assist her with several litters and learn what being a conscientious breeder truly entails. Because of my love for the breed, Waltraut encouraged me to invest that passion as a breeder.
What makes your program special?
I believe in the versatility of the Leonberger breed and enjoy partnering with my dogs in a variety of venues that include therapy, agility, rally, draft and water work. A Leonberger is not a specialist in any one arena. Rather, their purpose in life is to be loving, watchful companions and family members. They are capable and willing to go and do whatever their people want to do.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
