



I'm Jennifer R., the breeder behind Tir na nOg Leonbergers located in Maple Valley, WA. We are committed to preparing each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes. We strive to improve the breed & produce puppies that come as close as possible to the standard and being the ideal Leonberger. No dog is perfect, but we do everything we can to minimize problems & improve the breed.

Flurry is a very affectionate girl that is instant friends with everyone. She lived for cuddles, playtime, and treats. She is our social butterfly. She is also a very weel structured and agile girl that enjoys training and games.

She won her championship in a weekend but the. Lost the points due to a paperwork issue, but she doesn’t live the show ring so we haven’t put her back in to get it again.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
