Q. & A. with Tina
Why did you start breeding?
We used to have labrador retrievers that we had bred. As those dogs began to age, I decided I really wanted a german shepherd. We carefully chose a female and eventually found the perfect male. We loved those two so much and through our research we decided they were perfect to breed . I had to take a medical early retirement in 2006, so I was able to be home full time with the dogs.
What makes your program special?
My dogs all have a special place in my heart and near my bed at night! We do not use kennels, I have a pack of 7. When a female is pregnant she is given vitamins and extra protein for her and her pups' health. When pups are born they also live in the house so I can closely monitor their development All of our puppies are given love and exercise daily. When it is warm they get to go outside
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, black and red, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
