Lynn B.

Breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Lynn B., the breeder behind Tollhaus located in Canton, GA. We breed for temperament, health, longevity, type natural working ability, and structure. We don’t breed often and we usually breed first and foremost for ourselves and keep at least one puppy out of each litter. We have a well-planned breeding program and we typically only have 1 litter a year. Breeding is of tremendous importance to us and we concentrate our efforts on caring for and socializing our puppies. Because of the amount of time that we spend with each puppy, we do not allow people to pick their puppy; we pick the puppy that best suits each families' wants and needs. We normally do structural and temperament evaluations between 8 and 9 weeks of age.

Q. & A. with Lynn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had Bernese Mountain Dogs for 24 years before I decided to breed them. I had shown them in a variety of venues and had been active in my breed clubs. I felt that I wanted to be as knowledgeable as possible, before throwing my hat into the breeding ring. I started breeding in 2015. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.
  • What makes your program special?

We are professional handlers of Bernese Mountain Dogs. We do not breed our dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. We are dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training our pups and we strive to breed healthy, quality pups that can fit any lifestyle. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families. We work with passion, heart, and integrity, and truly want what's best for the Bernese Mountain Dog line.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black rust and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
