Why did you start breeding?
Although I am fairly new to breeding, I am enthusiastic about ethically sharing my love for Berger Picards with the world. I am devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy Berger Picards for others to enjoy, and I do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed.
What makes your program special?
I run a small, in-home breeding program where I prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that I can. I cherish all of my animals and enjoy sharing the love of this wonderful breed with other individuals and families! I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home that will match their temperament and personality. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes 1st Vet Checks/shots, microchips, a puppy basket, evaluations, registration in the AKC, 1st year Associate Membership in the BPCA, and possible eye checks. Deposits are only taken after I know that I have a puppy for you.”

Tuche is a female Berger Picard over 8 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Elise decided to make her part of their program. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
