Why did you start breeding?
Ever since I was a toddler I was helping my grandmother raise puppies. I have always had a big heart for puppies. Honey was my first Westie and because of her I fell in love with the breed. After meeting a new friend with a male Westie we decided to try and grow the Westie population on the west coast. I really enjoy being able to spread the Westie love into more families.What makes your program special?
These pups get all the care and attention as my own pets get. They are extra loved. We did genetic testing on both parents and both tested negative for any genetic disease. These pups are not AKC registered but most buyers who are buying a Westie for a pet don’t mind, plus it saves them in the cost.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Katie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

About Honey
Honey is a female West Highland White Terrier over 5 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Katie decided to make her part of their program. Katie has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

+4We had such a great experience with Treasure Valley Westies and Katie from start to finish. She was quick to respond, consistently sent photos, and was very reasonable and welcoming about letting us come visit to pick out our puppy (Yeti). Katie was thorough about Yeti’s vet visit, which I really appreciated, and she went above and beyond when it came time for him to come home—sending us with food, a blanket, toys, and treats to help make the transition easier. I would 10/10 recommend Katie to anyone looking for a Westie. You can tell she puts real love, care, and intention into what she does.
