Trillium Hill

Bill G.

Breeder of Gordon Setters

Meet the breeder

I'm Bill G., the breeder behind Trillium Hill located in Seattle, WA. We breed high-quality, healthy Gordon Setters with a focus on obedience trials, hunt tests, hunting, and conformation showing. Our goal is to produce an excellent representation of the Gordon Setter breed standard and to continue improving the line with each generation. I would be honored to connect you with your next beloved companion!

Q. & A. with Bill

  • Why did you start breeding?

My interest in breeding started around 1991, but career and lifestyle changes prevented it. The breeder for two of my dogs has been involved with breeding Setters since the late 1960s, and she has been, and still is, a great mentor to me.
  • What makes your program special?

I am a premier breeder of Gordon Setter puppies. I do not breed my dogs unless they are healthy, happy, and extraordinary examples of the Gordon Setter breed standard. My puppies are produced with a focus on hunting instincts, show potential, and conformation - and while many of them have the ability to excel in the show ring, all of them have become cherished family companions and lifelong friends! I look forward to connecting with you!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
