I'm Susie N., the breeder behind Trillium Point Stabyhouns located in Wheaton, IL. Our dogs are bred for health and breed conformation. Temperament is significant piece of conformation. We are also dedicated to keeping the dogs true to their original purpose as all around farm dogs. We maintain relationships with new puppy owners through the life of the dog.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I never thought I would breed, but because of the ASA, I am thrilled to be able to participate in this critically important breed preservation program.
  • What makes your program special?

    1) The focus on breed preservation 2) We work with breeders internationally. We actually have an International Committee and we meet monthly. 3) We have a central database that tracks all of dogs and health data points.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Susie

Susie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Cerebral Dysfunction, Frisian Stabyhoun Type, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
