Meet the breeder

I'm Lee and Mikki C., the breeder behind Trinity C Acres located in Morganton, NC. Our past pups have gone on to be service dogs, agility champions, dock diving champions, and of course fabulous pets. Veteran owned and operated.

Q. & A. with Lee and Mikki

  • Why did you start breeding?

We got into breeding because of my love for the breed, their abilities, brains and overall ability to learn whatever is taught them. I try to place pups on service home frequently, in order to give back. It has been humbling that some of our pups have literally changed lives.
  • What makes your program special?

At Trinity C Acres we strive to breed conformationally correct, genetically clear, smart, willing and agile pups, pups that excel in in every aspect of life as companions, work, and that are sport dogs/family members. WE HAVE A STRICT RETURN POLICY, IF FOR ANY REASON YOU CANNOT KEEP YOUR BELOVED PET (PURCHASED FROM US) WE WANT IT BACK!! WE FEEL WE ARE RESPONSIBILE FOR EACH AND EVERY ANIMAL THAT IS BORN HERE FOR THEIR LIFETIME, PLEASE ALLOW US TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

We had a wonderful experience working with Lee and Mikki. They kept us up to date throughout the process and responded to our questions promptly. Otis (Whiskey Pete) has matured into a handsome, intelligent, friendly, young dog…a testament to Trinity C Acres’ dedication to the breed and their desire to produce healthy, happy pups.

Wonderful, we had lost a beloved dog and saw a picture of this puppy, of course hearing that she was the last puppy and she was already 12 weeks old I was a little nervous but as soon as I saw her in person I knew she was perfect for us and she really has fit into our family (and pack) perfectly! Trinity C Acres was awesome and we recommend them

Lee and Mikki are knowledgeable breeders and experts in their field. My family and I received two pup's from them in 2023 and could not be happier with our two incredible dog's. Both Willy and Ziggy are happy and healthy dogs with unique and distinct personalities that make life very entertaining. We are head over HEELS for our Cattle Dogs.
