I'm Karen G., the breeder behind Tri-sett located in N Franklin, CT. I started with field English and field Irish before purchasing my first Gordon in 1972. Have bred 1 Dual Ch, 2 Master Hunter, 2 Senior Hunters, Many Junior Hunters, Show Ch, & Obedience titled dogs. I have produced 8 GSCA Top Producers over the years, have bred 4 Best in Show winners, & multiple Specialty winners. I look forward to introducing you to your next Gordon Setter!

I built my program with care and intention in every step. I am passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and I want my program to be an example of how to responsibly breed high-quality, healthy dogs.What makes your program special?
I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cerebellar Cortical Degeneration (CCD), PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 4 (rcd4), DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
