I'm Trudy D., the breeder behind Tru Cuddle Pups located in Underwood, MN. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.

What makes your program special?
Our Momma dog & pups do life with us right in our living room! We hold and play with each puppy multiple times a day. When we interact with them we spend time rubbing their feet, lightly tugging on their ears etc so they will learn to tolerate small children. Or program is small, currently consisting of only 1 Momma with plans to add to our program in the future.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include merle, tri-color, black, black and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Trudy
Trudy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Litter update on 19 Nov. •…Trying to take group photos of 6 week old puppies is quite the undertaking 😅🤣😆 These guys kept us on our toes for a good 20 minutes before they finally settled down for a pic🤪 Now that it's done, I'm wishing I had repositioned them a bit before I put them back in their playpen. Oh well.... maybe next time.

Litter update on 01 Nov. •…Welcome our 2025 Litter, The silly six! Three coat patterns, one boy & one girl in each coat! 🤩Max & Mollie are our merles, Toby & Tess are our tri-colors, and Beauty & Beau are our black & tan pair 💕 All are growing so fast! Toddle-ing around with their eyes open it's so fun to see them move around more! They do still sleep quite a bit tho. Hence the reason why I got so many sleepy pics! They had just finished eating, and it was time for yet another nap! 😅 Xena is doing an excellent job as always & getting extra cuddles in return

Litter update on 12 Dec. 2024 •…We love our local vet! Lucky guy! He even got a kiss from Earl!💖All the puppies did great at their appointment today. Hardly a peep from them, even when they got their shots! I can't believe they will be ready for their new homes in just 2 weeks. Rocco, BeBe, and Poppy are taken, but Earl is still available!

About Xena
Xena is a female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Trudy decided to make her part of their program. Trudy has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Parent health testing
Tru Cuddle Pups reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cavapoos.
Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
