Carolyn K.

Breeder of Belgian Malinois

Meet the breeder

I'm Carolyn K., the breeder behind Turick located in Hilliard, FL. Our program has generations of dual and triple champions, soundness of mind and body. We provide biddable, athletic faithful partners with health clearances. Our dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. Our ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions.

Q. & A. with Carolyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had great breed mentors that I assisted in handling in the '70s and '80s. I actually bred Guinea pigs while a young teen, keeping pedigrees and developing a short-haired variety with a single Abyssinian head swirl. I have always been invested in the well-being of animals. I wanted to give back to the breed by producing healthy pups and placing them into loving homes. I have always been invested in the well-being of animals. • What makes your program special?

I have more ROM (Register of Merit) dogs than any other breeder as well as the breeder or owner of the sire of 5 of the breed's 7 Triple champions. I also have more dual champions than any other breeder and always ensure health clearances. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I will always stand behind my puppies. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
