Meet the breeder

I'm Jeanne E., the breeder behind Uey’s Chihuahuas located in Summerfield, FL. Prior to being a full time breeder, I graduated from The University of Florida with honors in Health Science Education. Breeding healthy chihuahuas is a top priority for me. I have extensive vet records to share upon request. I have a beautiful setup here for all to see.

Q. & A. with Jeanne

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved chihuahuas and had them all my life. I started breeding on a very small scale in 1992 while attending college. I exclusively breed chihuahuas in order to concentrate on improving the breed with a strong focus on health.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are my life and my retired breeders are in high demand; because they are perfect, very social little dogs in extremely great health. I retire my dogs at 6 years old or younger and never breed one that is under 1 year old. All of my dogs have health insurance Insurance; which follows them to their new owner when they retire. On Google, Uey’s Chihuahuas has lots of really great reviews.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Very good all around. One of her male puppies caught my eye. Jeanne responds promptly, and has been helpful and informative with our 'Bogey' ever since. With a site visit (beautiful parents, btw) we got more than just a puppy, a shot record, and a handshake. Jeanne makes herself available, and we send her updates and pictures. Again, very good all around.

I loved working with Jeanne, what caught my attention is how communicative she is. Even after receiving the puppy months after she stills checks in to see if we need help with anything. She also shows us the parents so we can meet them too! Her puppies are all very well taken care of and she guides you very well with the vaccination process and all the next steps. If I ever get another puppy it will definitely be with Jeanne. I already recommended her to all my friends and family.

I found Jeanne through Good Dog, and the entire process went smoothly. The process was simple, from our first message, to securely paying for and picking up our adorable puppy. Jeanne is very knowledgeable about the breed, and is eager to share her knowledge and answer any questions. She really cares about her dogs, and I could not be happier with our puppy. The Good Dog process gave me confidence that Jeanne and Uey's Chihuahuas was the best choice in finding the right breeder and a healthy puppy.
