I'm Wanda G., the breeder behind Upland English Setters located in Boulder, CO. Our dogs excel in the ring and as beloved companions. We are very proud of their accomplishments and those of their puppies. Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Why did you start breeding?
I have been selectively breeding healthy and stunning ES for over 50 years. My puppies are born in my bedroom and home raised.My puppies are exposed to peoplw,sounds,and new experiences.I use ENS and Puppy Culture.Crate training.Potty training.Clicker Training.What makes your program special?
As a Biologist,I have a sound background in genetics. I carefully breed one litter a year.I breed primarily for myself and share these wonderful dogs with a select few families.My dogs excel in the Conformation ring,Agility,and best of all,fabulous companions.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Deja
Deja is a female English Setter. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Wanda decided to make her part of their program. Wanda has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA), Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
