I'm Kenzi G., the breeder behind Utah Lake Porties located in Saratoga Springs, UT. We are just a family who happen to have discovered that Portuguese Water Dogs are the best dogs in the world! We love that we get to share these amazing dogs with others. In our program we put health and temperament above anything else, so we can help others have amazing well rounded dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
We did extensive research before deciding that Portuguese Water Dogs were the breed for us. We love everything this breed has to offer and helping to educate others about these amazing dogs. Hypoallergenic, non-aggressive, intelligent, trainable, motivated, intuitive, caring, silly, and just all around the best!What makes your program special?
We are focused on Porties as family pets. Our dogs are our companions and our kids playmates. We believe that they are amazing and we are happy to be able to share their offspring with others. We focus on temperament and health as our most important qualities we look for and we have produced amazing family dogs because of this!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brown and white, black and white, black, and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Kenzi has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
"We include pet home AKC registration, current on worming and vaccinations, and a certificate of health from our Vet. To reserve a pup we ask for a $300 deposit."

About Lola
Lola is the sweetest girl. She loves to hang out and cuddle on the couch, but is ready for adventure. She lives for chasing a ball and will even jump up to catch it out of the air. She LOVES kids and is very gentle and patient with them. She is a fabulous family dog, and has the silkiest wavy hair. She is an amazing Mama.

About Samba
Samba is everything a Portuguese Water Dog should be- fun, happy go lucky, non agressive, and athletic. She is a true velcro dog and con be found glued to my side most of the time. She is intuitive and caring and always seems to be comforting someone. She loves to play at the lake and will swim with the kids all day. The only thing she loves more than swimming is riding on a kayak or paddle board. She is an excellent Mama and has produced the most amazing puppies. Her personality is seriously the best, and she spends her days playing with my kids ages 2-10. She is patient, loving, smart, and exceptionally loyal. She will take all the belly rubs you can give! She has beautiful Curly Black hair with small white markings.

PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, GM1 Gangliosidosis, Portuguese Water Dog Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
