I'm Karen N., the breeder behind Victory Circle German Shepherds located in Littlestown, PA. Hi, I’m Karen Nikirk. I’ve been breeding German Shepherds since 1998. I am a hobby breeder who tries to breed the best qualities in dogs. I currently train Schutzhund and before that shown in AKC obedience. My dogs are my family and I breed to provide you with strong stable dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
i was raised on a farm and have been involved with animals all my life. So as my interests got more into dog's it was a natural choice.What makes your program special?
i only breed dogs that have been genetically tested. if they don't pass OFA or aren't DM clear. i wont breed them i will also for any reason receive a dog back into our home. in other words, i do not breed for our dogs to end up in shelters or rescues. To me, its more about placing a pup in a loving home than anything else.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
