I'm the breeder behind VIRIDIAN K9 located in Valley Springs, CA. Our Malinois are all thoroughly health tested and bred for superior working capability, stable temperaments, intelligence, and versatility in sport, home protection, or police work. Our Bull Terriers are health tested and bred for performance or as wonderful active members of the family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    These dogs are my greatest passion and I strive to produce stable, driven, and balanced dogs suitable for work and home. Focused on health and unmatched drive and temperament.
  • What makes your program special?

    We do not breed to make money. We breed to make better dogs. We offer support and advice for the lifetime of the puppies we produce and stand by all of our productions for the entire life of the dog and beyond.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include brindle, red, mahogany, black, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Stephanie

Stephanie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Prices will vary based on the individual quality of the puppy evaluated for drive and temperament as a working prospect. Prices include all health records,BRN registration numbers or AKC applications. Deposits are nonrefundable unless the puppy becomes unsuitable for rehoming per breeder or licensed veterinarian. Simply opting out of purchasing a puppy will not receive a refund of any kind.”

Stephanie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. VIRIDIAN K9 reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Belgian Malinois.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Dentition

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
