I'm David F., the breeder behind Vom Broward Haus located in Davie, FL. Our Shepherds are of Foreign Showline Champion Bloodline and we strive on improving their temperament, their health, their conformation and the quality of their pedigree breeding to titled and of Champion Bloodline. Puppies are reserved in the order that the Deposits are received and they are selected upon pick up. FULL AKC/ Breeding Rights is Available for an Additional Fee and entitled to 1st Picks in that order.

Getting a puppy from David

David has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

David partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 9 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,900 - $3,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Puppies are same price in the litter. Reserving your German Shepherd reserves your place in line to select him or her. Payment of FULL AKC REGISTRATION allows Breeding Rights & Breeding Rights Picks of the Litter, cost is $1000. *******As of September 15th 2025 there will be an additional Florida State Sales Tax of 7% added when completing the Final Payment********. Payment via Gooddog."

David may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Lumbosacral Transitional Vertebra (LTV), Brucellosis, Dentition

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), DNA Profile

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We traveled across the country to pick up our sweet pup Oona! We left multiple feet of snow in New Hampshire and arrived to the a warm thunderstorm in Florida.     We welcomed our new puppy, Remi, from Broward Shepherds’ Basta × Uran litter born December 27, 2025, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, David kept us updated with photos and messages from the day the puppies were born. Being able to watch Remi grow during those early weeks made us feel incredibly included and grateful to witness those special moments before bringing her home. David was also wonderful about communication—he took the time to guide us on what supplies to purchase ahead of time and how to best prepare for bringing a new puppy home. The day we picked up Remi was one of the happiest days for our family. David and his wife welcomed us into their beautiful home, and it was immediately clear how much care and thought goes into the way they raise their puppies. Their backyard and puppy setup is clearly designed with the dogs’ wellbeing in mind. Unlike some breeders, you can truly see that these puppies are raised in a loving environment and are given excellent care from day one. We had first pick of the female puppies, and David and his wife were incredibly patient while we spent time choosing our newest family member. They answered every question we had and made the entire process feel comfortable and unhurried. Since bringing Remi home, she has had the sweetest personality and an incredible temperament—especially for such a young puppy. It is very clear she was raised with care, attention, and love. These puppies are not simply bred; they are genuinely nurtured. What has impressed us even more is that David continues to stay in touch, checking in on Remi and making sure she has transitioned well into her new home while always being available to answer questions. We are beyond grateful for this experience and could not be happier with our newest family member. If you are looking for a breeder who truly cares about their dogs and the families they go to, we cannot recommend Broward Shepherds highly enough.

    This was my first time going through the process of acquiring a puppy and working with David from Vom Broward Haus made it easy and seamless. David provided timely communication and updates on his profile about the parents and the puppies. Pick up day was also very simple and David provided all the paperwork and answered our questions.
