  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), DNA Profile

Working with Broward Shepherd to welcome the newest addition to our family was an outstanding experience. David was highly responsive, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process, providing consistent updates and guidance. We couldn’t be happier with our little Luna – she has a wonderful temperament and an amazing personality. Our children absolutely adore her. Thank you to Broward Shepherd for such a positive and memorable experience.

From the very beginning, the second we saw David’s profile we knew his shepherds were for our family. We lost our German Shepherd back in summer ‘25 and of course needed some time to think about another best friend, family member, and soul dog for our small family. My fiance and I could not be more grateful to David and his family of GSD’s. David made us feel comfortable and proud to be apart of the family and gain a new best friend for life. He responded within minutes of every question we had, he gave advise, he provided updates throughout from their birthday all the way until we picked up our Charlie boy. David and his wife are exceptional at what they do and they truly care about these dogs that made us feel great about where our new puppy was coming from. Charlie is 9 weeks old now and his temperament is amazing. These dogs are loving and caring and he already is fitting in so well in his new home with us. He even has a very solid foundation of potty training and has been doing great at home. We can’t thank David enough and hope one day we can get Charlie a future younger sibling from David. If you’re thinking of getting a GSD puppy David’s pups are 10/10 and you won’t regret adding them to your family. Thank you David for providing us with the best friend we’ve needed - will keep in touch.

Working with this breeder was a truly positive experience from start to finish. Communication was clear and professional, and the entire process was well organized and transparent. Our puppy arrived healthy, well-socialized, and with a great temperament, which reflects the care and responsibility taken in raising the litter. The breeder provided thorough information on vaccinations, health records, and ongoing care, making the transition into our home smooth and stress-free. We are extremely happy with our puppy and grateful for the support and guidance provided. I would confidently recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a well-bred, healthy puppy and a professional, trustworthy experience.

We can’t thank Broward Shepherds enough for our puppy! This was my first time getting a dog from a breeder and I had a lot of questions. I nearly gave up on my dream of having a German shepherd because I struggled to find a breeder I trusted. David and Ary go above and beyond for these dogs. They were so patient with my questions, responded promptly, and were exceptionally easy to work with. The process was clear and our puppy is doing great with us. He’s healthy, happy, and beautiful! They provided exceptional documentation so I could trust that I was getting a healthy and responsibly bred puppy.

It was nice a short meeting. The poor girl was shy at first but warmed up to me quick. Heck my dad tried to walk her but the moment I showed up she about ripped the leash out of his hands to get to me. Overall the breeder did a great job supplying all the information necessary and did a great job.
