I'm Cynthia R., the breeder behind Vom Giersch Haus located in Welling, OK. Here at Vom Giersch Haus, we do our best to provide working dogs with a solid drive, temperament, and working ability. We offer 24/7 breeder support and start our pups with training before they leave our hands, including basic, potty, and kennel.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved the breed, and after doing research, training, and going to events, I have learned what the German Shepherd breed truly bred to do. Breeding and raising working dogs who have it in them to do anything you ask of them, and them wanting to do anything you ask, that is what i strive to bring to the table here at our kennel.What makes your program special?
My dogs are an integral part of my family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose. They are worked with to make sure their transition from my home to yours is as smooth as can be.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Cynthia
Cynthia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $550 - $800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Microchip, regular deworming, shots, nail trims, socialization. Deposit is nonrefundable unless Military member PCS overseas or to a non-connecting state and are unable to bring a puppy into their home.”
Contract & health guarantee
Cynthia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Parent health testing
Vom Giersch Haus reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shepherds.
Temperament Test, Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Agouti DNA Test, Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
