I'm Kayla P., the breeder behind Vom Gonza German Shepherds located in Little Rock, AR. We raise AKC German Shepherds. Health and temperament are our biggest concerns! All of our dogs are health tested prior to breeding. We strive to preserve the German Shepherd breed and ensure you are getting a puppy who will match your lifestyle and goals.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother bred dogs my entire life. I have been helping deliver and raise puppies since I was old enough to walk. Once i got into training and German Shepherds, i quickly noticed the need for breeders dedicated to preserving and bettering the breed.What makes your program special?
Health and temperament are our primary concerns. We don’t place our puppies based on color or looks. We begin making picks at 6-7 weeks old, after weekly evaluations, to ensure that your puppy will be a good fit for your family and lifestyle.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Chelsea is a Czech Import with a medium food and ball drive. She has a fantastic temperament, environmentally solid and is very handler oriented. She aims to please and has a very happy go lucky personality. Chelsea is my go to when i need help building confidence in a young dog, exposing a puppy to new environments, etc. She excels at tracking and public access work. She is not an over the top sport dog, but is very capable in training/trialing at a club level.

He’s clear headed, biddable, powerful and environmentally stable. He has excellent full, hard grips and can be worked in prey or defense. He excels in public access work and protection. He is neutral with other dogs, great with kids and puppies and easy to live with. This boy really is the whole package and looks are just a bonus.

Artemis is a larger boned Czech Import. She has medium food drive and low-medium ball drive. She has a fantastic temperament, environmentally solid and is very handler oriented. She aims to please and would be the ideal service dog/therapy dog candidate. Her past puppies are excelling as Service Dogs, active pets and sport dogs.

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI), Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test, Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
