Expected German Shepherd litter
Due Apr. 2026
I'm Emily J., the breeder behind Vom Hausgladfel located in Nacogdoches, TX. Our Goal is to produce quality German shepherds as lifelong companions that are capable of being athletic, healthy, versitile, well tempered, and stunning. In order to acheive this goal, we work primarily with imported dogs out of West German Show Lines. All of our dogs have their hips and elbows done through SV with passing results, have passed their WB (temperment test), and are DM tested. We also work towards titling our breeding stock in both conformation and schutzhund (bite work). We will always prioritize quality and health over quantity! While our dogs are bred for show/sport, many of our puppies have also thrived as service dogs, personal protection dogs, and family companions!
Why did you start breeding?

About Ella
V Ella von Arlett IGP2, KKL 25-26’ VA Uzzo von Arlett x V Margman Scarlett SV HD/ED: f.normal/normal DM Clear Ella is a lovely female that we imported from Germany. Unlike the majority of our dogs, she is a short coat but does carry for long coat. We decided to bring Ella in to give us some new lines in our program hopefully through producing a lovely long coated puppy for us! We are very excited to see what she brings to our program. "Excellent head, high withers, firm back, the croup is well-set and of good length. Good angulation in the front, very good angulation in the rear, balanced chest proportions, straight front legs. The gait is elegant and powerful. TSB is pronounced."

About Honey
Honeysuckle vom Hausgladfel VA Esteemed K9’s Mad Max x SG Sindy Von der Blaro DM: Clear Honey was born and raised here in our kennel. We planned the litter she came from for a little over a year with hopes to produce a lovely female for our program. While it was hard to be patient, the wait was so worth it! Honey is everything we hoped to get out of this pairing. She is as sweet as her name implies with a tail that never stops wagging, her movement is fluid and effortless, her pigment is very rich and deep, and her structure is correct. To top it off, Honey boasts a lovely sable coat like her father! While she still has a lot to prove before she becomes an official breeding female, we are very hopeful about her future and can't wait to work with her!

High withers, pronounced sloping croup of good length. Good front, very well angulated rear, straight front, balanced chest proportions, almost straight stride. Fluid gaits with good balance. Donna is a sweetheart with absolutely stunning conformation. She has mesmerizing movement and has proven herself to be a wonderful mother. She is out of the legendary, VA2 BSZS Marcello, who was the first solid black long coat to ever go VA! I have been obsessed with his lines and have been waiting for the perfect dog out of him to add to our program. I am pleased to say that Donna was that perfect dog.

About Bonnie
SG, VP7 USA Wildwood's Bonnie Blue AD VA1 USA, 2xV4 BSZS Esteemed K9's Mad Max x V Monaliza v. Legends Team SV HD/ED normal/normal DM clear "Medium-sized, medium-strong female. She has a normal head. I would like the stop to be a bit more pronounced, but she has a beautiful eye, correct ears, an excellent wither, a long, stretched, straight back. The croup is somewhat long, slightly sloping. The forehand is correct, the hindquarters are very well angulated, nicely positioned under the body. She stands excellently and shows us a uniform movement with good reach." Judge: Andreas Weigel Miss Bonnie was bred by a friend and mentor of mine. I was extremely interested in this litter when I orignally heard about it, but couldn't take on a puppy at the time as my husband and I were getting married that month. I had been watching the litter for months when Bonnie became available! This lovely girl is absolutely stunning with her deep black coat, nice thick head, and lovely movement! Her lovely conformation is backed by a pedigree full of VA dogs! We are so excited to get to know this young lady better and continue her show carreer as she has some big shoes to fill!

About Cricket
SG, VP4 USA 24' Cricket vom Hausgladfel V X'Optimus de Eldorado x SG Biona vom Ice Punch SV HD/ED normal/normal DM clear "Feminine appearance, high withers, stretched dog. She has a little short croup, very good back angulation, but the upper arm could be a little longer. She could be a little straighter in the front. In the back, she has firm hocks and is gaiting very well." Cricket is our first ever puppy that we held back from one of our breedings. From the time she was tiny, I could tell that she would excell in sport and show. Her desire to please, handler focus, and overall drive is absolutely incredible. Despite being young, she already has a lovely strong bite and is doing incredible in her training. She has already blown the judges away with her stunning conformation! We plan to send her to Germany after she finishes all of her health testing to show and title there. We can't wait to see what our girl can accomplish!

I've brought my Nero from Vom Hausgladfel and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Emily was very knowledgeable and caring, and it was clear that their puppies were well cared for. The process was smooth, and I felt like Emily really wanted to make sure the pups were going to good homes. I would definitely recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a new furry family member!

Emily (Vom Hausgladfel GSD) was amazing from the first time I reached out with interest in one of her dogs - through the process of delivering the puppy to my home - and well after. She is responsive, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, thoroughly answers any questions that arise, obviously cares a great deal about her puppies. I live in a different state - and Emily was very on top of safely delivering the puppy to me. She is a problem solver. She was very thorough with information on health, feeding, grooming, and training. I have no doubt she would attentively address any concerns or questions I have - at any time during the lifespan of the dog. My boy, Sabo, is stunning - and has the best disposition and has been very easy to train and acclimate to his new environment. Emily is definitely on top of her game - I highly recommend.
