I'm Gina R., the breeder behind Vom Hillhaus located in Paoli, PA. I produce pups that will excel in various different dog sports and as companions. My dogs are well-trained and high-quality. My goal is to produce a great representation of the West German Shepherd breed and to continue improving the line with each generation. I feel so honored to be producing these incredible pups ❤️.

Why did you start breeding?
For many years I was involved in Australian Shepherds; showing, training and handling for the breed and competitive sport ring. Years ago my “other half” expressed how he always dreamed of having a German Shepherd, and so began the mission for the perfect GSD. A consistent love over the years for the German Shepherd breed and dog training encouraged the beginning of Vom Hillhaus. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
I can provide extensive knowledge and guidance for any family looking to bring home one of these wonderful dogs. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the German Shepherd breed.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

"Price includes guaranteed AKC registration, vet check and first round of vaccines, 30 day coverage of Trupanion Insurance, health guarantee against congenital and hereditary diseases, puppies raised on ENS and in a home environment, and lifetime breeder support. In addition no dog or puppy of ours will ever end up in a rescue or shelter situation. Vom Hillhaus always takes their dogs back for any reason, no questions asked, in the event of an issue or if you can no longer keep your dog. All deposits are transferable to another litter."

Neon is one of our home bred girls! She was shown at the 2023 US Seiger show and placed with a VP4 and holds a very impressive pedigree. She is a sweet natured girl, yet has lots of drive to do sport and/or work as she was started in explosives detection work. Neon truly is a versatile girl in so many ways. Her parents are Insta Vom Radhaus (dam) and Momo Von Palles Athene (sire), and she is a perfect blend of both. We are so excited to add her to our program, especially since we bred and raised her.

Mato is one of those dogs that has. Fan club! Everyone that meets him immediately falls in love with him. He is extremely clear in the head and extremely biddable. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Vom Hillhaus Breeder’s provides exemplary German Shepard’s. Our boy is kind and very smart yet protective and alert as he Shouid be. I have clinical anxiety and he is my support boy.
