Why did you start breeding?
German Shepherds have been part of my family history for generations, beginning with my great grandparents. My own path started through training and a desire to better understand the breed’s original purpose. As I studied genetics, health, pedigrees, structure, temperament, and European working traditions, my goal became clear: preserve the German Shepherd as a functional working breed.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are selected for health, stable temperament, working ability, and functional structure, with emphasis on proven European working bloodlines. Puppies receive intentional development from birth through placement, including environmental exposure, confidence building, early training, and individual evaluation. Each puppy is matched by temperament and suitability.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include plush and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Taylor
Taylor has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Taylor partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“We do not use a traditional pick-order system. Puppies are observed and evaluated continuously throughout their development, allowing us to build a detailed picture of each puppy’s temperament, confidence, drives, resilience, sociability, environmental stability, and individual strengths. Formal temperament evaluations are completed at approximately 7 weeks and considered alongside our daily observations. For puppies being considered for specialized roles such as service, detection, sport, or other working homes, the requirements of that individual home and intended work are also taken into consideration. Once evaluations are complete, puppies are matched based on temperament, working potential, lifestyle, experience, and the goals of each family or handler. Buyer preferences such as sex, coat, and color are always considered when possible, but suitability and long-term compatibility take priority over appearance or deposit order. Our goal is not simply to give each family the puppy they like most at first glance, but to place each puppy in the home where they are most likely to thrive.”

“Working-line German Shepherd puppies begin at $4,500. Includes early development, age-appropriate veterinary care, microchip, AKC Registration, Fi collar, records, starter kit & breeder support. $600 reservation deposit. 50% refundable before birth; fully refunded if no pregnancy occurs or the requested gender is unavailable. May be transferred to a future litter.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test, Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
