Meet the breeder

I'm Jenna F., the breeder behind Vom Rindahaus Shepherds located in Berwick, ME. We focus on breeding a middle of the ground dog. Suitable for service, agility, or other working capacities but also that can thrive as a family companion. Health testing is done on all our breeding dogs including OFA hips, elbows, cardiac and DNA.

Q. & A. with Jenna

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started with my first dog five years ago that slowly developed into the program we have today.
  • What makes your program special?

From birth, our puppies are handled daily, and start on Early Neurological Stimulation(ENS) and Early Scent Introduction(ESI) at just 3 days old. We do a 10 step handling routine, begin potty training and crate training. Bathtime + grooming, nail trims, car rides, handling by kids, socialization to cats, new textures, loud sounds yes/no commands, + confidence building/agility.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, black and tan, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
