
I'm Rachael U., the breeder behind Vom Rockwood located in Richland, MI. We focus on well-bred working line German Shepherds for working or family homes. I have been training in IGP for about 20 years now and am excited to start breeding. I have German and Czech lines and breed to the SV standards. The focus of our program is to produce great temperament and health while preserving the working ability of the dogs who also can be family pets.

"The price includes worming, first round of vaccinations and vet health check. All puppies will come with AKC Limited registration which can be lifted upon proof of health testing and titling. All of our puppies in a litter are the same price. Puppies are placed based on outside testing at 7 to 8 weeks."

Evie is a West German showline and West German working/Czech mix. She is the best of the working and show lines. She is a very happy dog who is great with people. Evie is SV health tested hips A normal, elbows normal, LUW0 and full Embark panel. Evie has her WB, BH and AD titles, SG show rating and is working towards her IGP1.

Ria is a very accomplished recent Czech import. She is 6 times IGP3 with multiple regional and national placements. Ria is a very sweet dog who loves to work, she is great with people and is good in new environments. Her hips are A normal, elbows (0/0), Spondy clear and DM clear. She is also Czech breed approved with a rating of 5JU1/P.

Razi is 3 times IGP3 and has trialed at regional and national level competitions. Razi is more civil than sport and travels well. Off the field he is very affectionate with his family and loves to hang out in the yard. SV hips A normal, elbows normal, LUW0, DM carrier. He is also show rated and breed surveyed.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
