I'm Jennifer T., the breeder behind vom Steinigerbach German Shepherds located in Pennsylvania. We are a small, family-based hobby breeder rooted in a deep love for the German Shepherd breed. Our goal is to raise well-rounded puppies who are not only intelligent and athletic, but also social, driven, and confident. We are passionate about preserving the integrity of the breed by carefully selecting top-quality genetics from proven European lines—lines known for producing titled, accomplished working dogs. Every litter is thoughtfully planned with a focus on health, temperament, and the potential to thrive in both working and active family homes.

Price
“Price includes first vet visit and vaccines and worming, limited registration, go home bag and blanket with litter and mother scent. All of our puppies are the same price and will require a deposit of $500. Deposits may be refunded or transferred to a future litter. Refunds are on a case by case basis.”

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
