Why did you start breeding?
As a professional dog trainer and lifelong German Shepherd lover, I fell in love with the breed’s loyalty, drive, and intelligence. After years of working with dogs from all backgrounds, I wanted to raise well-bred shepherds with strong temperaments, solid genetics, and the structure needed to thrive in any role.What makes your program special?
Von Arc Shepherds are raised in our home with early training, socialization, and care through our professional training program, The K-9 Dream. We focus on producing confident, well-structured, AKC German Shepherds with champion European lines and lifelong support for every puppy and family.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

"Puppies start at $2,500. Includes AKC registration, 1st vaccines, deworming, health certificate, early training, socialization & lifetime support. Training add-ons available. $500 non-refundable deposit required to reserve your puppy. Goes toward total price. Picks are made in order of deposit received. Balance due at pickup."

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
