Q. & A. with Aryana

  • Why did you start breeding?

Working as a professional dog trainer, I saw firsthand how much genetics influence temperament, structure and working ability. I fell in love with the German Shepherd for everything the breed was created to be. I started breeding because I wanted to preserve those qualities and produce versatile, sound dogs with the genetics and foundation to truly excel.

Getting a puppy from Aryana

Aryana has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Aryana partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“During the first six weeks, we closely observe each puppy’s developing personality, confidence, drive, energy level, sociability, resilience, engagement, and overall temperament. At six weeks, we complete more structured temperament evaluations and use those results alongside everything we have observed throughout the litter’s development. Before placement, we take time to understand each family’s lifestyle, experience, household, activity level, training goals, and intended purpose for their puppy, whether that is an active family companion, sport prospect, working prospect, or another suitable role. We then match each family with the puppy whose individual temperament and characteristics best align with those needs. Our goal is not simply to help families choose the puppy they like most at first glance, but to create the strongest possible long-term match between puppy and owner. Buyer preferences are always considered, but temperament, suitability, and the puppy’s long-term success are our priority.”
