I'm Nicole B., the breeder behind Von Brodek Kennels located in Terrell, TX. I actively train my dogs to compete in the sport of IGP. The same traits that make a dog great for sport go hand in hand with a solid family dog. I select stock that meet the breed standard and display a solid temperament and stable nerve. Dogs selected for breeding are health tested appropriately.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding to give new people in the sport the chance to have a quality dog to compete with and have a stable family pet.What makes your program special?
I give my all to training each dog in my home in both sport and in family life therefore creating dogs people will enjoy and want to have in their home long term.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include plush and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

"$2500 includes hip/elbow guarantee, Limited AKC registration that will be changed to full upon passing final hip and elbow certifications. Health guarantee against community disease. Microchip and up to date vaccines. The buyer can choose to purchase the puppy without the hip/elbow guarantee and receive a $500 discount. "

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
