I'm Carol B., the breeder behind von der Benedikt GSD located in Savona, NY. My dogs are bred for superior dispositions, sound hips, obedience potential, and show. Dogs are raised in my home—part of our family. I am a breeder who does everything I can to better the breed and ensure my dogs and puppies are able to get the most out of life.
Q. & A. with Carol
Why did you start breeding?
I have been breeding German Shepherds for over 20 years. I wanted to produce an animal that would fit any environment, whether for home, working dog, or show. My dogs are raised in the home and are contently socialized.
What makes your program special?
I breed the best lines possible. All of my dogs are health tested and animals are socialized with adults and children so they can fit into any environment. These animals are raised in my home and treated like a part of the family. When a dog leaves my home, I provide lifetime support to the buyer and answer any questions they may have going forward.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
