I'm John F., the breeder behind Von Fousthaus GSDogs located in Dunn, NC. I train my dogs for Schutzhund and each one is titled before they are bred. I am passionate about my work and love my dogs! I live in a remote area with lots of land where my dogs have ample room to play and explore. This allows my puppies to learn and gain confidence in themselves. My dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. I prepare all of my pups to excel in life.

John has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, John partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“Puppy selection is based upon the order the deposits are received and after vet inspection at 6-weeks old.”

“This covers the puppy's first vet visit, first immunization, socialization, and beginning potty training. A deposit is placed to hold the puppy. If buyer changes their mind, I will refund the deposit when I place the puppy with someone else.”
John may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If John offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to John directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from John.

About Talon
Talon loves to please. She’s been a natural tracker since a puppy with excellent food & ball drive. She loves doing bite work and obedience. She’s out of 2022 WUSV Reserve Universal Sieger V-Yankee von Kaltwasser, IGP-3. Yankee has been winning in competition events since he was very young. He even won his FH-1 with a score of 98 out of 100 on a Friday & earned his FH-2 the very next day with a score of 99 out of 100. Talon's pedigree is listed on Pedigree Database dot com.

About Rip
Rip has been a pleasure to train. He’s always ready to train and eager to learn. He easily earned his BH in USCA at 19 months old. He’s out of Dewil Moravia Kerberos who was on the WUSV Team USA twice, placing 16th in the world in 2025. Dewil is out of 2019 WUSV Reserve World Champion Bordy Blendy. Additionally, Rip’s Grandmother on the Dam side is V Elsa vom Mack-Zwinger IPO3, SD1, Kkl for life. I trained with Elsa when I first started training in Schutzhund. She was an awesome dog. She competed & was successful at the club, regional & national levels, but more importantly, she produced dogs that have been successful in competing at the club, regional, national & world championship levels and they’re out of several different male dogs. She produced 13 working titled dogs out of 39 total which is a 33.3% success rate. She also produced a Regional IGP3 Champion & Universal Sieger and a GSDCA National Universal Siegerin who went on to compete in the WUSV world championship in Europe. Elsa’s offspring have also proven to be great reproducers. Rip got an A-Normal rating on both hips & elbows with SV. Rip has excellent food & ball drive. Rip is great at tracking, obedience and protection. He would be better in obedience with a better trainer. Rip's pedigree is listed on Pedigree Database dot com.
