    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Erick

Erick has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes Akc paperwork, full rights, deworming, current vaccinations at 6 and 8 weeks old, a microchip, and litter certification. The deposit for the puppy is non-refundable. This ensures that the puppy is reserved for you until the day it’s ready to go to its new home.”

Erick may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Temperament Test

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Erick was very helpful with all of my questions and the entire process from reserving my puppy to pick up day. Day of pick up exceeded my expectations. They gave us very good information on feeding, Vet visit needs, AKC info and answered all of our questions.     Erick was very professional and patient. I had lots of questions and he always answered them. Also he was patient with pick up time (we lived 11 hours away and things did not go exactly as planned on my end but Erick worked with me on everything. The puppy we got from him is absolutely perfect. Appears well socialized. Is gentle but still has his "puppy" side to him. Could not have gotten a puppy I enjoyed more than our little guy. Its also obvious he takes very good care of his dogs. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality German Shepherd to get one from Erick.

    I recently met with Erick to find a new friend to come home with. It was very clear that Erick cares about the puppies and their health. They are all as up-to-date on vaccines as they can be. Meeting the puppies and having to pick one was hard, but Erick was patient and did not rush the process, I even met the parents. Eventually I decided that Tello would become our family’s new member. Erick sent Tello to his new home with plenty of supplies. We are thankful for the puppy food, toys, blankets, records, hygienic products, and other things to make the first few days easier. Of course we planned to have those things, but Erick still provided it. Tello has been a playful little guy, and he gets along with his new older sister. We are very excited to see him grow in our family, and it is thanks to Erick.

    We had a great experience with Erick! He and his wife really care about their dogs and gave us helpful feeding and training tips. They sent us home with a toy that had our puppies mother's milk on it, to make to transition to our home easier. They also gave us a bag of her food and additional toys. I would definitely recommend them!
