I'm Callie C., the breeder behind Von Maqqedah Haus German Shepherds located in Pickens, SC. My goal In this program was to create a social, dependable, driven, dog who could be trusted in any environment. A dog who thought independently enough, but also looked to the handler for direction. I wanted to continue the temperament I look for in service dogs, working dogs, and glorified pets.
Q. & A. with Callie
Why did you start breeding?
Through owning the wonderful breed, I created a passion for it! As a dog trainer, I meet bad examples of the breed weekly. My goal is to produce great examples of the breed, and continue the legacy my pack has!
What makes your program special?
I think my passion for the breed shows. I go the extra mile, in setting the pups up for success! My main focus is on making sure each puppy has a home FOREVER. So, I match each pup with an appropriate family, and set them up for their future home! My stud dogs always have at the minimum hips and elbows. The Dams have extensive pedigree.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
