Meet the breeder

I'm Valerie L., the breeder behind Von Plateau located in Murrieta, CA. We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family!

Q. & A. with Valerie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I decided to breed my dog after I got the required health tests and working titles on her and had a lot of help and encouragement from the breeder I got my dog from.
  • What makes your program special?

I am a very small time “boutique” breeder. My dogs live in my house as well as the puppies I breed. I make sure the puppies go to similar homes, and will be a part of the family. I keep in touch with all of my puppy owners and am available for any kind of advice. If a puppy/dog doesn’t work out I will always take it back, I don’t want any dog I’ve bred to ever end up in a shelter.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
