I'm Jordyn G., the breeder behind Von Solidago located in Wahoo, NE. We're committed to raising well-rounded German Shepherd puppies who can excel in any venue with their new families. Our GSDs would be suitable for bite sports, AKC sports, police, SAR, and more. We do not produce pets only.

Why did you start breeding?
8 years ago I learned what it meant to be an ethical and responsible breeder after getting my first GSD from an unethical breeder, without knowing better. I wanted to help educate those on the risks with buying from an unethical breeder and why it’s important to buy from a breeder who health tests and works with their dogs.What makes your program special?
We are not in it for the money. A lot goes into our dogs to make sure we produce sound, health dogs. We do all required breed related health testing and more. We title our breeding dogs and prove them before breeding and make sure they are sound and stable in all environments.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include long and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

"The price includes the AKC registration, embark test, first round of vaccines, microchip ,deworming and socialization. All pups are raised on puppy culture and started on crate and potty training. Non refundable but transferable to another litter."

About Brasi
Brasi is a sable female German Shepherd and the upcoming foundation female of our breeding program. At 17 months old, she is actively training for her IGP1 and already holds her TKN and VHMP titles. Brasi descends from exceptional working lines—she is the granddaughter of Hercules Von Grossen Ex and Knox vom Tollhaus, combining strong West German working lines with Czech influence. A medium-sized female weighing 55 lbs, Brasi is built for speed and agility. She’s a bold and driven dog who acts first and thinks later—an ideal temperament for high-demand working environments. Her prey and ball drive are intense, making her a powerful and motivated working partner. Neutral toward people and dogs, she carries a healthy amount of natural suspicion. Brasi excels in tracking with a methodical, nose-down approach—though her eagerness can sometimes make her too fast. In protection, she exhibits deep, confident barking and full, calm grips, showing great promise as she matures. At home, she’s always “on,” with a relentless work ethic and energy. While she has begun to develop more of an off switch, she thrives in active environments where she has a job to do.

About Bauer
Bauer is our 5-year-old dark sable German Shepherd and the foundation of our stud program. Born October 6, 2019, he is a medium-sized male, standing 24” at the withers and weighing 70 lbs. Bauer combines strong working ability with a clear, stable temperament—traits we value deeply in our breeding program. Social and open in most settings, Bauer is friendly with people and adores children. He is dog-neutral but may assert dominance when challenged by other dominant males. With a deep nose and strong natural tracking instincts.. His obedience is correct and reliable, but not flashy. Bauer possesses a well-balanced drive profile, with high ball and prey drive complemented by a strong defense drive. He prefers engaging the helper over focusing on equipment, and in protection, he delivers fast, agile entries, strong, full grips, and handles pressure with clarity and confidence. He transitions seamlessly between IGP and PSA-style work, currently training for both IGP3 and PSA PDC. He’s already worked on the bicep in a suit and took to it naturally. Clear-headed and confident, Bauer can move from high-intensity protection to calmly meeting a stranger within seconds. At home, he has a solid off-switch, is clean both in and out of the crate, and is an easy dog to live with—a true example of balance between working ability and livability.

About Risk
Risk is our promising young male from the A Litter, a co-bred pairing with Von Schwarzen Herz Kennel in Nebraska. Born on December 19, 2024, Risk is the product of our stud Bauer and Felony vom Blaue Linie PSA PDC, PPD. At just 5 months old, Risk is already 55lbs. This upcoming male is everything we hoped for from this pairing. He boasts high food and toy drive, with extremely flashy obedience and a quick, biddable mind. In protection, Risk shows impressive maturity with deep barking, full, hard grips, and excellent commitment. He’s confident, responsive, and has a clear desire to work—traits we aim to preserve and pass on. Risk’s pedigree is rich in Czech and West German working lines, with influential names on both sides. His dam’s lineage includes dogs from Jipo-Me, Jirkova Dvora, and Salztalblick, while his sire brings strong genetics from Hoky, Nike, and Tyson—all notable working dogs with proven records. Risk was DM clear via Gensol at 5 weeks, and he is scheduled for SV x-rays at 12 months as we evaluate him for full inclusion in our breeding program. He will be training and trialing in PSA, where we expect him to thrive and showcase his capabilities. Risk represents the next generation of our program—balanced, powerful, and purpose-driven. We look forward to watching him mature into the dog we believe he’s destined to be.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
