We breed well-balanced, health-tested German Shepherds with puppy foundations that nurture curiosity, drive, and confidence.   • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always been fascinated by this Breed of their loyalty when I was growing up. So when I got older, and met my husband was when I got my first German Shepherd. That was in 1998. I started breeding in 1999, and have bred different breeds throughout the years. I have bred German Shepherds to German Shepherd-Wolf cross, Wolf-Hybrids, and Miniature Poodles. My Husband is no longer with us.

  • What makes your program special?

    I take special time out with all my adults, and puppies. I teach the basics early of socialization, different sounds, using a doggy door for potty training, indoor, and outdoor environments, lots of love, and lots of play time with siblings when they are puppies to carry over into adults. I don't do this alone-my son shares my passion so we get to work together. I take great pride in what I do.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include plush and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, black and tan, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Janice

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration, 1st shots, puppy blanket & toy, deworming, heath exam record from the vet, puppy passport book, 1st months heartworm prevention, and flea & tick prevention. If the buyer cancels/changes his/her mind on wanting to get a puppy for any given time for any reason. I can put the non-refundable deposit towards another litter.”

    Janice has been such a pleasure to work with! We talked through all of my questions and concerns before reserving a puppy. After we picked our pup, Janice continued to send us weekly pictures of his growth and share what his favorite things are so far. My fiancé and I ended up moving right at the time Duke was ready to be picked up and Janice kindly held on to him for an extra week and a half so he could have a smooth transition. Duke has been such an awesome puppy, he is very well socialized to people, animals, loud noises, etc. We have had him for two weeks now and he has already learned basic commands as well as crate training. He is such a loving puppy and eager to please! We will always recommend Von Stancill German Shepherds! Could not have asked for a better experience!
