Meet the breeder

I'm Mary C., the breeder behind Von Wulfgeist Shepherds located in Rochester, MN. We are a small in-home breeding program of loving, family companion White Swiss Shepherds and long coat German Shepherds. Each puppy is greatly loved by us! We ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. Since the health of our dogs is the most important factor for us, we do not breed them without health testing and OFA certification. We can't wait to get to know you!

Q. & A. with Mary

  • Why did you start breeding?

Although we are fairly new to breeding, we are enthusiastic about ethically sharing our love for White Swiss Shepherds and long coat German Shepherds with the world. We are passionate about our dogs and have built that love and respect for the breed into every aspect of our program.
  • What makes your program special?

The health of our dogs comes first and foremost. We test all of our dogs and believe in quality over quantity. We're committed to only breeding dogs that meet the strict guidelines for quality that we have deemed appropriate for these wonderful breeds.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

German Shepherd puppies include black and liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
