Q. & A. with Michaela
Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding to provide a furless alternative for individuals dealing with allergies. Wheatens are wonderful family dogs, happy, playful and always ready for an adventure. After becoming an adult they really adjust well to the energy level of the family or person they live with. This makes them great for the retired as well.
What makes your program special?
I have over 20 years of experience with this breed, plus 20 additional years of experience in rescue. I make sure our dogs are well socialized as well as healthy. To do that I do genetic testing, socializing them to different people, enviroments and keeping them safe by microchipping. All puppies are cute that is why I help people find the right fit personality wise.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are wheaten. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
