I'm Jill F., the breeder behind Waldkonig K9 located in Eatonville, WA. My dogs are bred for temperament and Health without sacrificing working drive. I have extensive pedigree knowledge and breed only European working bloodlines, each pairing carefully selected to bring out the best in each litter. All of my Breeding dogs have health certifications prior to breeding and puppies are sold with a Hip&Health contract.
Q. & A. with Jill
Why did you start breeding?
I started to see a real shift in GSDs. People breeding only for the show ring or the Schutzhund field. The competition factor in both areas had people breeding for extremes. I wanted the original, versatile dog, and that's what I still breed for.
What makes your program special?
I breed a very clear-headed, versatile dog. Solid Temperaments and nerves are extremely important. Because of this, I can produce a PD K-9 and a service dog from the same litter.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
