I'm Jacob W., the breeder behind Walker Bassets located in Lexington, NC. Our mission is to place our puppies in a loving forever home. We know our dogs will bring you the same joy they have brought us! Our dogs are our family and they are treated that way. Our puppies will go to their new homes with vet checks and current vaccines. We offer our puppies with limited or full AKC registration.

Why did you start breeding?
We took a lot of time searching for our two basset hounds and researching the breeding process. Once we had set our minds to it and ensured we had the time to commit we started breeding our two bassets.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because we are wanting to increase the popularity of basset hounds.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue tan and white and black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jacob
Jacob has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,050 - $1,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Puppies are $1,300 limited registration and $1,500 full registration. The deposit is $250 and it does come off of the total price.”
Contract & health guarantee
Jacob may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
